This template has been created to help practitioners, researchers, administrators and government officials to create a profile of their work in school health promotion. The approach we have taken in developing these suggestions is more in line with a similar business wiki called www.linkedin.com rather the social versions such as Facebook.

Please read through the introduction on this template and then delete the front part, leaving only the information about your work.

By using this template to describe your work and experience, you will be more likely to connect with other school health practitioners in Canada or around the world.

Notes:

  1. When you create a profile for an organization or initiative within our school health wikis, we ask that you create a separate page within the wiki and not use the “Profile” tool, thereby reserving this wiki tool for creating profiles of the professionals engaged in school health promotion.
  2. The profile section withion this wiki has other tools for you to use in making contact with others. You can send email within the wiki or from the wiki to other people. (You can also control the email that you receive from the wiki by making changes within your profile.)
  3. You can invite other colleagues to be a “friend”. We suggest that you use that tool sparingly, perhaps when you are inviting selected others to join you on a specific project.

Please send us suggestions on how this template can be improved so that you can present information about your work in school health promotion more effectively and efficiently. Please send those ideas to dmccall@cash-aces.ca Now, go to the section below, enter the information and then delete this introduction.
