Indigenous SH FrameworkWelcome to this wiki-toolbox that serves as a shared work space for community leaders, researchers, non-governmental organizations and local agencies interested in promoting aboriginal health and well-being in schools through school-based and school-linked programs.

The content presented here is part of an ongoing dialogue on aboriginal school health. These pages of our overall CSH wiki provides examples of school health delivered in the context of schools that serve aboriginal communities or large proportions of aboriginal students. We would like to share educational, planning, and assessment tools, as well as some international research on related issues in indigenous school health. We also have a page on related news and events.

This wiki is kept up-to-date by its members and is part of an ongoing "Community of Practice" that includes work on:
  • regular conference calls/web meetings
  • webinars on selected topics related to schools serving aboriginal students or communities
  • jointly building and maintaining a wiki-toolbox of research, reports and resources
  • other activities organized by the lead organizations and individuals
  • the joint planning of pre-conference symposia at the annual School Health conference
