Consultation on CCSA School Guidelines
This series of pages includes the comments made by several CoP members and others on the draft CCSA School Standards on Preventing Substance Abuse. These comments are available on this page. The feedback was also summarized in a letter to CCSA from the Canadian Association for School Health.
This draft document has been prepared by the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse and was made public in early June 2009. The Canadian Association for School Health (CASH) is asking members of its Community of Practice on School Substance Abuse Prevention and others to comment on the draft by August 31, 2009.
Although CASH is thanked for its permission to use our similar document, a Knowledge Summary, no representatives of CASH were involved in the preparation of this version.
CASH is a member of the national Advisory Committee for the project that has produced this set of standards. That Advisory Committee has not discussed the draft CCSA document. CASH will bring its feedback on this version to CCSA through that Advisory Committee.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to review these standards. CASH looks forward to collating your responses and providing CCSA with all of your comments and suggested changes.
