  • Policies in School Health Promotion, Safety & Social Development
This summary was prepared by this project and is being developed further by the International School Health Network. It describes and discusses the important role that school, agency and ministry policies play in health promotion and prevention. Obviously, this includes substance abuse prevention, so we have tied this resource to that one, thereby reducing duplication.
  • A Toolbox on School Substance Abuse Prevention
This Canadian resource includes over 200 research articles, planning and other resources as well as links to policy-related tools and reports. Consequently, rather than updating such items within the confines of this resource, we invite readers to access that toolbox. As a result, readers will be able to quickly peruse the evidence about programs that should be implemented as a result of good policy decisions.
