Webinars, Web Meetings, Virtual Office HoursThis is a featured page

This section of our web site contain information on our webinars/web meetings and our newly developed "virtual office hours", where we respond to individual requests for information.

The Canadian Association for School Health was among the leaders in first developing the use of webinars as a convenient means for hearing and seeing presentations. Moreover, our work to integrate those webinars with national Communities of Practice that developed the topics, published lists of resources/research, held regular conference call meetings, organized annual symposia and published selected information in our designated CoP sections remains a good example for many striving to use this technology effectively.

We are pleased to note that our Association is continuing to innovate, with our work to develop "virtual office hours" and "drop-in meetings" where we will have designated resource people on hand to reply to questions via instant messaging platforms.

In responding to those questions and in continuing to provide extensive background information for our webinars, web meetings and drop-in/office hour sessions, we are pleased to note that we can draw from the huge and growing number of summaries, resources, reports and research studies displayed on the World School Health Encyclopedia published an operated by the International School Health Network. This collection of resources is led by several internationally recognized experts, experienced practitioners and non-governmental organizations who serve as editors and contributors.
